In an unmistakable reversion to pre-pandemic norms, Google has issued a stern directive for remote staff to return to the office, threatening termination if they don’t comply. This move underscores the tech giant’s shift away from flexible work in favor of traditional in-office collaboration, leaving remote employees no room for negotiation.
Google cofounder Sergey Brin recently said that employees should work 60 hours a week in-office to keep up in artificial intelligence race.
